Yin Yoga

YOGINI VINYASA FLOW TEACHER TRAINING (125+HR) SEPT 2021

This Meridian based Vinyasa flow training teaches you to give a Vinyasa flow class, but is also designed to accompany Yin Yoga for a Yin/Yang yoga class and will contain less upper body strength than a vinyasa flow or astangha vinyasa training so it is easier accessible for most Yin Yoga lovers. Although many postures are from Classical Indian Yoga, we are studying these poses  from a meridian based perspective. We bring alive the old Taoistic knowledge by comparing the target area of a Yoga pose with which connective tissues and meridians we are stimulating at the same time. Which meridians do we reach or stretch in for example Triangle pose, Treepose, 2nd Warriorpose? And what does this mean for us as yoga practitioners?
We will than be able with knowledge of this subtle body anatomy to balance our yin and yang practice with more intelligence and create Yin/Yang classes from a deeper understanding.

In this training we integrate the individual or functional approach of teaching Vinyasa so that individual differences in skeleton or body are met.

For whom is this training?
For yoga lovers, who have had 2 years experience with yoga.
For vinyasa yoga teachers, who would like to learn meridian based stimulation of yogaposes and how to sequence this with an energetic understanding and its effects on our body and mind.
For Yin Yoga teachers, who would like to create meridian based yin yang yoga classes.

The base of this training are three Vinyasa flows with standing and seated poses. Every flow has her own opening chant, Chi Kungs, yoga sequence with Krama groups that open 4 meridians and certain ‘Anatomy trains’ (connective tissue strips).

What does this training cover:

  • Foundational Yogaposes for Standing, Forwardbends,Twists, Backbends, Balance poses and Inversions and its’ meridian stimulation; learning modifications and its prop use.
  • Understanding the basic foundation of Vinyasa Krama and Taoistic rhythmic movement
  • 24 Classis Chi Kung’s which you can use in a Yin Yoga, Yang/Yin or Yang flow class as a mini vinyasa
  • 3 Vinyasa flows created for specific pairs of meridians, connective tissue to accompany Yin Yoga sequences, or used in a Vinyasa class on its own
  • Learning Pranayama and the meaning of Prana of Chi Flow. Creating a self practice and how and where to integrate in a yin yang yoga class
  • Subtle Body Anatomy to understand the comparison of the Nadi’s and the meridian stimulation basic six levels meridian theory to recognise those levels in Hatha poses
  • Learning the myo fascial meridians or strokes (Anatomy trains by Tom Myers) and understanding which yogaposes are stretching which myo fascial meridians
  • Subtle body Anatomy of Hatha Yoga f.e. Vayu’s and the Kosha’s
  • Basic Anatomy of the Body for skeleton, muscles
  • Organ theory from both Asian view and Western Anatomy
  • Learning how to teach Foundational Hatha Yoga poses and Yang Flows for beginners’ and midlevel audiences, skills for multilevel teaching
  • Yoga philosophy For the Female Goddesses, Patanjali and Bhagavad Gita Introduction
  • Learning how to adjust physically, verbally and mimicly your students in Yogaposes
  • Learning how & practicing to teach Meridian based Vinyasa flow yoga
  • How to create professional, deeply layered yang/yin yoga classes

This 125+ hr training will give together with the Yin Yoga & Mindfulness 100hrs Teacher training a 200 hr Yoga Alliance USA Certification.
This  Meridian based Vinyasa training exists out 125 contact hours and 30 non- contact hours.
Good to know: Our Yin Yoga 100 hrs & Meridian based Vinyasa flow 125 hrs give together more contact hours, and non-contact hours than the minimum standard of Yoga Alliance!

For the training you need a comprehensive digital manual for 37EUR (ecl. VAT). This manual will automatically be added to the invoice. This will also give you access to the Educational platform with video’s of the flows, Chi Kungs, handouts sequences to print etc. and the homework.

Including a light warm lunch with ingredients that match the nadi’s during all 14 trainingdays, tea, fruit en snacks & pick up from station Driebergen-Zeist

This Meridian based Vinyasa teacher training, is a Specialization recognized with 60 points at Vereniging Yoga Docenten Nederland (VYN).

 

Meridian based Vinyasa flow is een opleiding die is erkend door Yoga Alliance. Samen met de Yin1 Teacher Training (100+ hrs) leidt dit tot een 200 Registered Yoga Teacher registratie.

Are you already a yoga teacher or someone who would like to dive deeper into Self-understanding using the tools of Yin Yoga and Meditation?

We at Stillnessinyoga are offering a YIN YOGA & MEDITATION TEACHER TRAINING for teachers and YIN lovers.

YIN YOGA, because of its static nature, prepares our body for longer meditation practices. We learn to surrender to the pose and accept the moment as it is offered to us. Yin Yoga is a very good balance to our yang lifestyle, it de-stresses and teaches us to relax.

 

Stillnessinyoga | Yin Yoga

The training will provide skills that will be of great benefit to practitioners, and when fully integrated, you will be able to share these with your students. You will be given the tools to deepen your practice, and learn how to integrate them in your normal yoga class.

The training will be 85% in Dutch and 15% in English.

 









PROGRAM

In this training you will receive:

  • YIN YOGA floor-oriented poses and sequences for different organ-pairs, following Sarah Powers’ vision.
  • Prop use for YIN YOGA and modifications for the poses for beginners till intermediate and for injuries
  • YANG FLOW yoga sequences and series for rhythmic movement in circular or spiraling movements.
  • Alignment and Yoga Adjusting, through touch, for YIN YOGA and some YANG YOGA
  • Breathing exercises  to stimulate YIN or YANG to balance
  • Exercises to internalize attention and create stepping stones towards the experience of meditation
  • Mindfulness during asana, and the meaning of Intention
  • Meditation Practices active and passive
  • An introduction into Kriya Yoga and practices for the chakra’s
  • The chance to discover the deeper meaning of Yoga and meditation through instruction including Atma Vidya (Self Enquiry)
  • Practising and developing teaching skills for YIN/YANG YOGA and learning to refine verbal instruction towards inward attention & mindfulness in a competent and safe manner
  • Introduction into energetic, subtle body anatomy: the Chakra’s and the Nadi system, its’ parallel’s with the Chinese meridian system and our organs/emotions and its relevancy for YIN YOGA
  • Introduction into the 5 Elements Philosophy  to understand the balance of yin/yang yoga

Price: €1.750 excl. 21% VAT.

Price includes all training days on this 100 hour Training. Because of the group size (maximum 14 participants), this edition giv you a highly personal experience. This specific course has 1 additional training day, 2 additional evening ZOOM sessions and 2 private sessions with Nigam and/or Anoshe. One private session will be in the first month of the training to create a certain level of confidentiality between the student and the teacher, which will deepen the experience of the whole training.

Further, you will receive a personal diagnosis of an acupuncturist to create your personal yin yoga sequence, so you can experience the benefits of yin yoga for your individual practice.

Due to Covid-19 we have decided to leave out the retreat as well as the meals, as both aspects have been proven difficult to organise due to the measures. Fruit, tea and snacks will be provided during training days.

Please be informed that course books and manuals are NOT included in the price. The Stillnessinyoga Yin/Meditation Teacher Training manual 200+ pages, which is in the form of an Ibook is part of the training and is 37 euro (excl VAT). It has many photos of poses and modifications as well as filmed sequences.

INSCHRIJVEN VOOR DE WEKELIJKSE LES(SEN)

Voor de wekelijkse lessen kun je kiezen of je meedoet in de Druivenkas of online via zoom. We gaan daarvoor over naar een registratie systeem: Momoyoga. Vanaf nu kun je via Momoyoga je inschrijven voor de lessen. Dit gaat in een aantal stappen:

  1. Via onderstaande button “INSCHRIJVEN WEKELIJKSE LES” kom je in Momoyoga alwaar je een nieuw account aanmaakt
  2. Je kiest de les waaraan je mee wilt doen (maandagavond Vinyasa, woensdagavond vroeg Yin Yang of woensdagavond laat Yin)
  3. Je rekent af
  4. Vanaf 1 september kun je per week aangeven of je de les volgt in de Druivenkas of online via zoom.

Omdat we een beperkt aantal plekken in de Druivenkas hebben, is het belangrijk dat je tijdig een plek reserveert wanneer je in de Druivenkas mee wilt doen. Na je inschrijving zul je een zoomlink ontvangen waarmee je sowieso online mee kunt doen en die je kunt gebruiken om de les later terug te kijken.

Meer over Anoshe en haar lessen
Anoshe is een gecertificeerde Yoga Alliance Yoga docente, direct opgeleid door o.a. Louisa Sears en Sarah Powers, Shiva Rea en vele anderen.  Ze praktizeert yoga sinds 1982. Anoshe heeft internationaal gedoceerd, maar woont nu in Doorn. En heeft aan vele stilte kampen meegedaan in India en elders.Velen van haar cursussen en bijscholingen voor docenten zijn erkend door Vereniging Yoga docenten Nederland.

Anoshe’s Vinyasa lessen zijn niet alleen een dynamische, fysieke work-out, maar ook een uitnodiging om lichaam-geest-spirit samen te brengen door connectie met de adem, en door aanwezig te zijn in het moment, het nu.We eindigen met meditatie en bieden door het seizoen heen verschillende technieken voor meditatie aan.

Anoshe is een expert in Yin Yoga en leidt anderen op tot Yin yoga docent. Haar Yin lessen zijn zorgvuldig en diep ontspannend door haar stem, mindvolle instructies en nodigen je uit om met aandacht naar binnen te gaan.

De Yin/Yang klas is voor de helft van de klas dynamisch met ritmische beweging, de 2e helft is Yin yoga voor diepe ontspanning. Deze klas is een goede balans die je spieren strekt en traint, en daarna dmv Yin Yoga de diepe ontspanning van bindweefsel strekkingen aanbiedt.

 

 

LOCATIE DE DRUIVENKAS, DOORN

De lessen worden gegeven in de “Druivenkas” van de Historische Theetuin Bartiméus te Doorn.
De verbouwde druivenkas staat midden in het bos en is voorzien van centrale verwarming met vloerverwarming. Het is een prachtige plek met optimale natuurbeleving, zowel buiten als binnen.

Adres en parkeerplaatsen:
Rijdend op de N225 neem je de ingang Driebergsestraatweg 44, 3941 ZX Doorn (44 in witte letters)
Zodra je het terrein oprijdt zie je het blauwe verkeersbord t’Sand.
Na bijna 700 meter staat aan de rechter kant van de weg het hoge witte wegwijzertje ‘Historische Moestuin’. Hier kun je parkeren. Je kunt ook parkeren op een van de parkeerterreintjes.

Wanneer je bij het wegwijzertje “Historische Moestuin” het bospad met verlichting inloopt zie je de tuin vanzelf in het bos liggen. Er staan 3 kassen in de tuin. De Druivenkas is de achterste. Loop door de tuin heen en volg de handgemaakte bordjes “Druivenkas” naar de grote houten poort aan de andere kant. Ga door de houten poort heen en kom binnen! Wij wachten op je met een kop thee, als het donker wordt is er volop verlichting en je kunt ons altijd bellen op +31(0)617 02 64 53.

I.v.m. woon/werk/noodgevallen verkeer en plaatselijke regels voor stilte en bosgebied is het niet toegestaan om te parkeren langs de Broekweg of direct bij de Druivenkas.

Mocht je via de hoofdingang van Bartiméus, Oude Arnhemse Bovenweg 3, 3941 XM Doorn (groot groen bord met witte B) het terrein op rijden dan vindt je het hoge witte wegwijzertje “Historische Moestuin” na 550 meter aan de linkerkant van de weg tegenover de Achterhoeklaan.
