SYLLABUS – ONE YEAR MEDITATION TEACHER TRAINING
- You will learn what meditation is as well as learn in depth and extensively practice various meditation techniques, bandhas, breathe awareness and retention.
- Vipasana, Zen, Witnessing, Mindfulness, Walking Meditations, Meditation on Death, Zazen, Chakra Meditation.
- You will learn the practice of Self Inquiry as a way to self-realization – Who am I? Who is in?
- You will practice Active meditations. e.g. Dynamic Meditation, Kundalini Meditation, Gibberish, Osho Chakra Sounds, Osho Mahamudra, Osho Gourishankar Meditation etc. These help to prepare for silent/still sitting meditation like Vipassana, Zen.
- Sitting postures.
- You will be introduced to earlier Masters such as Buddha, Lao Tzu, Bodhidharma, Rumi, Ramana Maharshi and Poonjaji as well as to more contemporary Masters such as Osho, Adyashanti, Poonjaji, Mooji and Eckhart Tolle.
- You will study sacred texts such as Bhagavad Gita, Vedas and Vigyana Bhairava Tantra, Tao Te Ching.
- Pranayama techniques to prepare for meditation
- Kriya Yoga – the basic pranayama of Arohan and Awarohan.
The rotation of sound, mantra and awareness through the major energy channels
- Nada Yoga – the Yoga of sound and mantra. Omkara, the philosophy and practice. We will chant our way to our hearts, learn the meaning of mantras and experience their powers.
This course is a unique opportunity to dive deep into yourself, forgetting all identities you create with your thoughts, conditioning and suffering.
- It requires much effort to become relaxed and effortless. Only in totally relaxed, effortless one can experience their True Nature. Together we will create the supporting energy for this process and you will go back home with all the tools for this.
- We will also coach you in techniques on how to share meditation with others. How to provide a climate of meditation for your yoga students etc.
