Pranayama is the art of listening. Listening to our own breath. In such refinement, that we nourish ourselves with embracing the present moment fully. We are where our breath is. Our breathing influences our emotions, our mind and the other way around.
How do we refine our breathing practice? Many of us don’t learn in detail what happens for instance in Ujjayi breath. What do we relax and what do we engage? What is the function of the pelvic floor and why?
This short course guides you in an advanced way how to refine and deepen the foundation of Pranayama. We will experience with the help of different body postures which ‘path’ needs our attention during a breathing practice.We will practice classical Pranayama techniques and breath retentions. We will in between the sessions practice at home by ourselves.
Pranayama leads us to meditation and is a bridge for balancing yin and yang to invite the depth of dhyana or meditation. Our being is hungry for this space with all these huge changes in the world around us.
Pranayama removes the stagnation in the energy body and supports you with more clarity and energy.
75 minutes per session.
We will practice by ourselves at home with the material presented. And each class we’ll build up on the last one.
