HOMEWORK DAY 6

  • Read Mark Stephens:
  • page 281 -286,
  • page 297 level 1 Basic Class
  • practice entire Tara sequence 2x this week
  • practice Devi sequence 1x this week
  • Learn the Sanskrit names of the Tara sequence
  • Read up about the poses of the Tara sequence in the Stillnessinyoga manual
  • Have a look at the film clips on www.markstephens.com under online resources

Be aware that Mark’s instruction doesn’t allow for skeletal or other individual differences,which we use as yin/yang teachers.

  • Hero pose (virasana)
  • Three limb facing one foot forward( thriang mukhaipaida paschimottanasana)
  • Janu sirsasana ( modification for pose above)
  • Locust pose ABC (Salabhasana ABC)
  • Seated wrapped forward fold ( Maricyasana A)
  • Down Ward Facing Dog
  • Anjaneyasana
  • Bow pose (Dhanurasana)
  • Setu Bandha Sarvangasana
  • Camel pose (Ustrasana)

Create your own basic meridian based yang class from Stomach/Spleen/Lung/Large Intestine

for Yang Ming/Tai Yin with the help of the info Anoshe gave in the garden, and Mark Stephens’ non meridian based basic yoga class.

Further homework beforef 31st january was:

1.Als huiswerk oefen in ieder geval je gedeelte van Gayatri.
2.Kijk en oefen de poses van het posturelab probeer de props uit.
3. de Gayatri sequentie een keer  in zijn geheel, eindig met yin houdingen of de closing sequence van de gayatri.
4.Vul het aangehechte formulier in.
Vul in het   formulier om wat dieper met onszelf te gaan onderzoeken als onderdeel van de 4 armen van Lakshmi.
Wat zijn mijn talenten? Wat heb ik nu nodig?
Zou je dit in willen vullen?
Als je dit naar me stuurt waardeer ik dit zet in het subject voor Anoshe only.
